What is Colorado Gives Day?

Tuesday, December 9, is Colorado Gives Day, an annual online giving movement benefitting thousands of nonprofits and, as a result, all Coloradans.

FirstBank partnered with the Colorado Gives Foundation in 2010 to create Colorado Gives Day, and since then, the giving movement has raised over $500 million for local nonprofits.

How Can You Help?

Coloradans can give as little as $5 to a cause they care about. All donations made from November 1 through December 9 will count towards Colorado Gives Day. Visit ColoradoGivesDay.org to browse nonprofits by location or cause and make a donation.

Remember, the giving doesn’t have to end after Colorado Gives Day. You can help your favorite nonprofits year-round by visiting coloradogives.org and donating to organizations that do so much to help our communities.

Amplify Your Giving.

FirstBank, Colorado Gives Foundation, and other sponsors have created a $1 million+ Incentive Fund that increases the impact of every dollar donated. How? The fund proportionally matches the percentage amount raised by each participating nonprofit. For example, if nonprofit X raises 10 percent of the total donation amount on Colorado Gives Day, it will receive a matching contribution of 10 percent from the Incentive Fund.

Contributing to your preferred nonprofit on Colorado Gives Day and encouraging a friend, family, or neighbor to do the same is a great way to help your chosen nonprofit benefit from the Incentive Fund.

Game on! Join us for Colorado Gives Day Trivia, hosted by FirstBank, for a chance to win a $1,000 donation.

Here’s how to play:

• From Monday, December 1 – Friday, December 5, 2025.
• Visit efirstbankblog.com/COGivesDayTrivia (link will be live on November 10) to participate.
• Questions will be posted twice a day on the blog, and winners will be randomly drawn from the correct answers.
• Increase your odds of winning by inviting donors, employees, volunteers, families, friends – ANYONE – to play.
• Winners will receive a $1,000 donation toward a chosen nonprofit.
• Winners and their chosen nonprofits will be announced on FirstBank’s blog within two hours of posting each question.
