Colorado Gives Day 2023 was Tuesday, Dec. 5, and we’re happy to report another successful day of giving! 

Over 237,000 donations totaling more than $54.2 million benefitted over 3,600 nonprofit organizations.

What is Colorado Gives Day?

Tuesday, December 5^th, is Colorado Gives Day, an annual one-day online giving movement benefitting over 3,400 nonprofits and, as a result, all Coloradans.

FirstBank partnered with the Colorado Gives Foundation in 2010 to create Colorado Gives Day, and since then, the giving movement has raised an astounding $415 million for local nonprofits.

How Can You Help?

Coloradans can give as little as $5 to a cause they care about. All donations made from Nov. 1^st through Dec. 5^th will count towards Colorado Gives Day. Visit ColoradoGivesDay.org to shop for nonprofit/s by location or cause and donate.

Keep in mind, the giving doesn’t have to end after Colorado Gives Day. You can help your favorite nonprofits year-round by visiting coloradogives.org. It’s a great way to show support to organizations that do so much to help our communities.

Amplify Your Giving

FirstBank, Colorado Gives Foundation, and other sponsors have created a $1 million+ Incentive Fund that increases the impact of every dollar donated. How? The fund proportionally matches the percentage amount raised by each participating nonprofit. For example, if nonprofit X raises 10 percent of the total donation amount on Colorado Gives Day, they will receive 10 percent of the Incentive Fund as a matching contribution.

Contributing to your preferred nonprofit on Colorado Gives Day and encouraging a friend, family, or neighbor to do the same is a great way to help your chosen nonprofit benefit from the Incentive Fund.

Colorado Gives Day Trivia

Game on! Enjoy some online Colorado Gives Day Trivia hosted by FirstBank from Monday, Nov. 27^th through Friday, Dec. 1^st.

How it works:

• Questions are posted on our Facebook page from Monday, Nov. 27^th – Friday, Dec. 1^st.
• Questions will be posted twice a day at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• Post the correct answer to each trivia question in the comments section of the corresponding post.
• In your comment, tag or mention the name of the Colorado Gives Day nonprofit you’re playing for.
• We will randomly select a winner for each question from all comments with a correct answer that mentions a participating nonprofit.
• Facebook within two hours of posting each question.
