February 2, 2024 CV Giving Day 2024 was Tuesday, March 5, and we’re happy to report another successful day of giving! Over 2,000 donations totaling more than $860,000 benefited over 160 nonprofit organizations. How Can You Help? Go to cvgivingday.org to search hundreds of nonprofits and donate – as little as $10 – directly to causes that matter to you. You don’t have to wait until CV Giving Day to donate. Early Giving is now open. All donation from now through March 5 will count towards CV Giving Day. DONATE TODAY Amplify Your Giving. FirstBank, Desert Community Foundation, and other sponsors have contributed $100,000 to an incentive fund, which will be awarded to participating nonprofits in $5,000 to $10,000 cash prizes across several categories, including: Random Prizing: $5,000 will be awarded to twelve nonprofits ($60,000 total). Nonprofits must receive a minimum of ten donations to be eligible to win. Leaderboard Prizing: $10,000 will be awarded to the nonprofit with the most unique donors by number*. $7,500 will be awarded to the nonprofit with the second most unique donors by number*. $5,000 will be awarded to the nonprofit with the third most unique donors by number*. *Unique donors by number means that multiple donations made by the same donor do not count when calculating the total number of donations received. Kick-off Event Prizing: $5,000 will be awarded to two nonprofits ($10,000 total) during the Early Giving Kick-off event for Coachella Valley Giving Day. Early Giving Prizing:$7,500 will be awarded to nonprofits during the early giving period (February 5th-March 4th) through various social media and donation challenges.
