As of Oct. 2, 2019, FirstBank is officially the newest resident of Carbondale, Colo. In what marks our seventh year in the Roaring Fork Valley, this will be FirstBank’s third branch, adding to the Glenwood Springs and Aspen locations. Located in the heart of Carbondale (791 HWY 133), we look forward to continuing our relationship with the amazing folks of this uniquely beautiful community.

Here’s how it worked. For the entire month of September, we teamed up with the Carbondale Creamery and Café (doubling up on an already daily routine). For every latte or cupcake purchased, FirstBank donated $5 to Ascendigo Autism Services, up to $5,000…

We’re happy to announce: Mission Accomplished. We will be donating $5,000 to Ascendigo thanks to the overwhelming support from the Carbondale community. We gave ourselves a full month to hit the goal, but the Creamery only needed 24 days to sell 1,000 cupcakes and lattes.

A little about Ascendigo:

This Carbondale-based nonprofit is celebrating its 15^th anniversary this year. Ascendigo provides opportunities for growth and independence for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Ascendigo’s mission is to elevate the spectrum by empowering people, inspiring lives and shattering expectations. The organization provides opportunities for recreation and adventure in the outdoors, skills development and coaching, vocational and residential support and in-home behavioral therapy for individuals with ASD.
