Whether it be realizing their small business dreams or helping others in times of need, FirstBank customers do some amazing things.

One of those customers, Samantha “Sammy” Schultz, is taking it up a notch by participating in the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo!

A Colorado native, Sammy will be competing in the Modern Pentathlon at this year’s event. This event includes cross country running, swimming, equestrian (horse) show jumping, shooting, and fencing. Doing any one of those would be a challenge, let alone all five events, but luckily Sammy is up for the challenge.

She’s been an athlete her entire life and has competed in the pentathlon for over a decade, winning numerous awards along the way including, a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games and seven National Championships.

We’re hopeful Sammy can continue her winning streak at the Olympics and are immensely proud to support her journey.

The 2021 Tokyo Olympics take place between Friday, July 23 and Sunday, August 8. Tune in for the Modern Pentathlon on August 6 to see Sammy in action.
