What are the Small Business Empowerment Awards?

  • FirstBank and the Phoenix Suns launched the season-long Empowerment Awards to support marginalized communities.
  • Throughout the 2023-2024 season, FirstBank and the Suns are inviting small business owners in Arizona to apply for the opportunity to receive a $5,000 grant and promotional support.
  • This is just one way FirstBank and the Suns are supporting minority-owned businesses and Small Business Empowerment Award nominees, while also celebrating cultural observances.
  • For additional information about the FirstBank Empowerment Awards and to nominate a local small business, please visit suns.com/empowerment.
