Arizona Gives Day is from noon April 5 to noon April 6, 2022, but the early giving period is now open!

💡 Last year, over 40,000 individual donations raised over $7 million for 982 local nonprofits. Arizona Gives Day has raised over $30 million since its inception in 2013.

What is Arizona Gives Day?

Arizona Gives Day is a statewide, 24-hour, online giving campaign organized by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers Forum, with FirstBank as the presenting sponsor.

Donated funds help over 1,000 Arizona nonprofits continue their critical work in the community.

How You Can Help

You can help an Arizona nonprofit in one of three ways:

1. Schedule a donation during the early giving period. Donations between March 15 and April 6 will count towards an organization’s grand fundraising total.
2. Donate on Arizona Gives Day, from noon April 5 to noon April 6, 2022.
3. Create a fundraising page.

AZ Gives Day Incentive Prize Pool

FirstBank teamed up with Freeport-McMoran Foundation and Thunderbirds Charities to offer nonprofits a chance to receive additional support. There are 116 prizes totaling $180,000, which will be given out based on select categories that include the organization that receives the most individual donations, most amount raised, random Golden Ticket prizes and more.

Contributing to your preferred nonprofit and encouraging your friends, family and neighbors to do the same is the best way to help your chosen nonprofit benefit from the incentive fund.

Give It Forward

In anticipation of Arizona Gives Day, FirstBank recently handed out more than $10,000 in gift cards to Arizonans in hopes lucky recipients would consider “giving it forward” – even if it was just $5 – to their favorite Arizona Gives Day nonprofit.

Two Valley FirstBank locations hosted a mock customer appreciation event wherein bank visitors were encouraged to spin a prize wheel for a chance to win pens, keychains, and other minor prizes. Instead of pens, they were shocked to discover they were actually receiving gift cards worth between $150 and $500.
