November 27, 2013 I was recently talking with the newest Teller at the 42nd branch, Tiffany, and she said something that stuck with me. I asked her what she liked about working for FirstBank. She quickly replied that: “Within a few months of working at the bank I have developed relationships with the regular customers and non-customers (who I obviously hope to convert over time); and that is something that most banks don’t offer now days. I love that we know almost all our customers on a first-name basis, I think this truly make us stand out. I am a ‘people-person’, so being able to be the ‘go-to person’ for a customer’s daily transactions is very rewarding and something I enjoy.” Wow! I love that Tiffany, being a new employee, was able to pick up on this part of FirstBank’s company culture so quickly. FirstBank is lucky to have employees like her.
