Yes! You can send a Person to Person transfer from the FirstBank Mobile Banking app or Online Banking on a desktop. From a desktop, simply navigate to efirstbank.com, login to your Online Banking profile, and then hoover over ‘Transfers & Bill Pay’ then click on ‘Person to Person’. Reply
Love this service. I have seen countless ads about it, but I never realized you could send money to someone whose account is at a different financial institution than FirstBank. Mega cool. Screw PayPal! Support Colorado business! Reply
Yay that this promotion is taking place again! I was introduced to P2P last year from this same contest and it is awesome. Everyone I have introduced it to whether for paying or receiving, also loves it – it is so easy! Thank you FirstBank for this great service! Reply
This is wonderful to hear Kim! Thanks for helping us spread the word about how easy and convenient P2P is to use. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best of luck in the final few drawings for this giveaway. Reply
Does the entire transaction have to be completely processed before the close of the contest (since p2p transfers take 3-4 days), or they just need to be initiated by that date (January 17th)? So if I send them today but they aren’t fully processed until January 21, would my transfers still count? Thanks! Reply
Yes. P2P Transfers that are initiated on or before Sunday (1.17) will be eligible for the final drawing in this giveaway. The transfer does not have to be fully processed before the deadline. We wish you the best of luck in the final drawing! Reply
are funds available faster (same day) to those who transfer money within the firstbank network? ie. bank of america or wells fargo? vs outside the network and use clearxchange? (next business day?) in general, i know that every thing depends on something else. (ie the account holders, the branch, time of deposit) Reply
Yes, funds are processed faster when a P2P transfer is from a FirstBank account to a FirstBank account. Typically P2P Transfers within the same institution process the same day the transfer is made. When you transfer from FirstBank to another institution (or vise versa) the standard 3 business day time frame applies for processing.
