All you need is Online Banking, the FirstBank Mobile Banking App and a phone – and maybe the money you owe your friend. Check out the details below. Offer runs July 20th – August 23rd and is open to new and existing customers. Five $500 prizes will be awarded. One winner will be chosen each week. Winner will be randomly selected from eligible entries. Winner may decline the prize and we will then randomly redraw an alternate winner. Entries restart each week on July 20th, July 27th, August 3rd, August 10th, and August 17th. Drawings begin on July 26th and continue weekly. Prizes will be paid by August 28th via a deposit to the designated P2P default account. Odds of winning will be based on the number of entries, up to a maximum of 5 entries per weekly drawing. There is no minimum transfer amount. Customer must send a P2P payment to be entered. P2P payments received by the customer do not count as an entry. Hello and thanks for the comment. While there is not a way to stop these messages from displaying when you login to Online Banking, you can simply click the ‘X’ or ‘Ok, Thanks’ button to no longer see our marketing messages. Reply
I hope someone can answer my question because I don’t have a facebook to post one on there. Does your entry count the day you make the P2P transfer or the day it posts? I understand Saturday rules, however, I made some transfers on a Friday but they went on Monday’s business. I’m asking because the two dates fall in different weekly entry periods and I would like to know if I should re-enter for this week or not (because I did the limit of 5 transfers). Thanks! Reply
Hi there Ariel, thanks for your question. Once a P2P transfer posts to your account it will count as an entry for this promotion. Therefore if your transfers didn’t post until Monday, they did NOT count as an entry for week 1 but will be counted for week 2. Make sense? Reply
Is the other person required to sign up for P2P and accept the transfers for you to get an entry? Or can you get one just for trying 🙂 ? Reply
Yes, the other person is required to sign up. Your transfer will only post on account once the person you’ve sent it to enrolls. Transfers sits in a pending status until the person you’ve sent to signs up. Only P2P transfers that post to an account will be eligible for this promotion. Reply
